The signet ring was used as long ago as 3500 BC by people of Mesopotamia. By the time of the ancient Egyptians the seal had become attached to a ring and Pharaohs and other important people of the day would wear them to show their position. It was seen as a form of identification. Because of this, signet rings are often referred to as 'seal rings'. The name comes from the Latin 'Signum' which means 'sign'. Now, signet rings are worn by men and women from all walks of life who wish to exhibit style, or a sentimental connection with something or someone.
The star is a symbol of truth and guidance and often associated with positive messages.
Thats the history and why not bring some of this tradition into the present. We made rings that have a deeper meaning as the sign on them shell protect the one who is wearing the ring.
